Management and administering of entrance exams
Each year, some twenty elementary schools, more than a hundred high schools and about sixty professional training institutions use our candidate evaluation services, whether these institutions are public or private, with a special orientation (sports, dance, soccer, music, international studies, etc.) or offer enriched programs (English, math, etc.).
Based on the selected formula, our personnel takes care of the entire exam administering process or trains the school personnel for this task. We welcome in our offices the candidates who were unable to attend the official sessions in the schools. We also organize sessions in remote regions or abroad.
In all cases, the tests used are chosen in collaboration with the schools, based on their needs. They obtain the results on the same day, or 48 hours after the administering of the exams during peak periods. We hand out a summary sheet of results for every candidate, as well as a list of excellence.
For every exam administering, our statistical method allows schools to compare their candidates to those being evaluated throughout the province. All our tests are adapted to departmental programs and regularly updated.
From elementary school to high school, we measure academic skills, French, math, writing and English assets; we evaluate creativity, studying skills, knowledge of current events and general knowledge, social skills, interests and character traits... Observation grids can also provide information on student behavior during exams.
In the professional sector, we offer a battery of tests for over 80 programs. The Typomètre, more particularly, evaluates candidates according to an ideal profile designed by professionals and experts from targeted fields. This exclusive tool, developed along with Jacques Roy, author of the Guide de recherche d’une orientation professionnelle (GROP), determines the profiles that are more likely to complete their training program and meet the job requirements.
