Our History
1968
Louis Brisson and Réjean Legris, guidance counsellors, partner to start the company Brisson, Legris et associés. Two types of services are offered to Quebec private high schools: candidate evaluation (entrance exams) and counselling and school information services.
1969-1970
Brisson Legris develops its counselling services for adults in school.
1975
Brisson Legris develops counselling services for paragovernmental organizations such as Human Resources Development Canada, and then Emploi-Québec, the SAAQ and the CSST.
1980
Brisson Legris offers its expertise in candidate selection to professional institutions.
1982
Réjean Legris buys back all of the company shares and takes control of the business.
1990
Brisson Legris offers its services to international education public schools for the selection of candidates.
1998
Marie-Josée Legris, CMA, joins her father to progressively take over. Her arrival truly marks the beginning of a new development phase for the company.
2000
Brisson Legris extends its evaluation and selection services to elementary schools, businesses and private customers. The company also develops privileged ties with Emploi-Québec and several local employment centers, as part of counselling, psychosocial evaluation and validation of career choices.
2002
Brisson Legris gets involved in Employee Assistance Programs.
2005
Marie-Josée Legris becomes President and General Manager of the family business. Brisson Legris — more and more known and renowned for its dynamism, flexibility and adaptability — sees its clientele triple since the year 2000.
2006
The company finds a new image!
Brisson Legris, unveiling potentials becomes the company’s new signature.
